Agreement to Terms

By downloading, installing, or using HaBucket ("the App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the App.

Description of Service

HaBucket is a habit tracking application designed to help you build and maintain positive habits. The App allows you to create habits, track completions, view statistics, and set reminders.

User Accounts

HaBucket uses an anonymous device-based identification system. You do not need to create an account with personal information to use the App. Your device identifier is used solely for subscription management purposes.

Subscriptions & Payments

Free Tier

The free version of HaBucket includes:

  • Up to 5 active habits
  • Up to 10 archived habits
  • Basic statistics (30-day history)
  • 1 reminder per habit
  • JSON data export

HaBucket Pro

The Pro subscription unlocks:

  • Unlimited habits
  • Unlimited archived habits
  • Advanced statistics & analytics (90+ days)
  • Unlimited reminders per habit
  • All export formats (JSON, CSV)
  • Custom themes and colors
  • Priority email support

Subscription Plans

  • Monthly Plan: Billed every month
  • Yearly Plan: Billed annually (best value)

Billing & Auto-Renewal

  • Payment is charged to your Apple ID or Google Play account at confirmation of purchase
  • Subscriptions automatically renew unless auto-renew is turned off at least 24 hours before the end of the current period
  • Your account will be charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period
  • You can manage and cancel your subscriptions by going to your account settings on the App Store or Google Play Store after purchase

Free Trial

We may offer a free trial period for HaBucket Pro. If offered:

  • You will not be charged during the free trial period
  • At the end of the free trial, your subscription will automatically convert to a paid subscription unless cancelled
  • Any unused portion of a free trial period will be forfeited when you purchase a subscription
  • You can cancel at any time during the trial to avoid being charged

Cancellation

You may cancel your subscription at any time:

  • On iOS: Go to Settings → [Your Name] → Subscriptions → HaBucket
  • On Android: Go to Google Play Store → Menu → Subscriptions → HaBucket

After cancellation, you will continue to have access to Pro features until the end of your current billing period. Your data will not be deleted when you cancel.

Refund Policy

Refunds are handled by Apple App Store or Google Play Store according to their respective refund policies. We do not process refunds directly.

  • For iOS: Contact Apple Support or request a refund at reportaproblem.apple.com
  • For Android: Contact Google Play Support or request a refund through the Google Play Store

User Responsibilities

You agree to:

  • Use the App only for lawful purposes
  • Not attempt to reverse engineer or modify the App
  • Not use the App to transmit harmful content
  • Maintain the security of your device
  • Be responsible for all activity on your device

Intellectual Property

The App, including its design, features, and content, is owned by HaBucket and protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works without our express permission.

Data & Privacy

Your use of the App is also governed by our Privacy Policy. By using the App, you consent to the collection and use of information as described in the Privacy Policy.

Disclaimer of Warranties

The App is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee that the App will be error-free, uninterrupted, or meet your specific requirements. Use of the App is at your own risk.

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, HaBucket shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the App, including but not limited to loss of data or profits.

Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will notify users of significant changes through the App. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.

Termination

We may terminate or suspend your access to the App at any time, without prior notice, for conduct that we believe violates these Terms or is harmful to other users or us.

Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with applicable laws, without regard to conflict of law principles.
